Church Multiplication and Leadership Pipeline Strategy

Helping ambitious church leaders turn vision for church multiplication and developing lasting leadership pipelines into fundable plans.

Over the last five years, Annie has worked with senior church leaders pursuing some of the most ambitious church multiplication and leadership pipeline projects in the UK and Australia — work that has resulted in more than $4 million invested in the next generation of the church.

The pattern across every project was consistent: visionary leaders with real momentum, and a gap between what they could see and what a funder could be confident enough to back. The vision was rarely the problem. What was missing was the translation, a model clear enough to fund, a budget credible enough to defend, and a narrative distilled to what a funding board actually needed to see.

The Approach

Each project required articulating the unique vision of the leader and model that fit the context of the church, but the underlying process was consistent: translate the vision for growth into a structure a funder could trust, without losing the urgency or distinctiveness that made the vision worth funding in the first place.

•  Strategic narrative — Worked with leadership teams to articulate context, challenge, and intervention clearly enough that a funder unfamiliar with the church or denomination could grasp the opportunity quickly and understand what was compelling about the project.

•  Model of delivery — Translated the execution approach into a coherent model for delivery to demonstrate viability and achievable impact.

•  Financial models — Built budgets and funding cases spanning training pipelines, church planting, and revitalisation, calibrated to each organisation's scale and context.

•  Leader engagement — Supported leaders through the process of articulating their organisational vision, working through roadblocks, identifying KPIs, and engaging with stakeholders to enable translation into a strategy, and credible funding proposal.

Outcomes and Impact

The Bigger Story

Church multiplication is about more than just planting new churches, its about the long intentional work of raising up a generation of formed and equipped leaders for ministry and resourcing them to succeed as they undertake the important work of planting or revitalising churches.

The work has been about working with leaders — project after project — to bring rigour and credibility to ambitious renewal strategies to lay the foundation for resource injection and proving that decline in major denominational networks isn't inevitable.
