Meet the team

Annie Phillips - Founder & Director

Annie founded LUMN with a simple conviction: the world doesn’t just need more ideas—it needs those ideas to be built into reality, without losing their beauty or intent along the way.

"I’ve walked alongside leaders carrying visions that have shifted the dial—ideas with the power to change organisations, communities, even culture. What I’ve learned is this: bold ideas don’t just need strategy. They need someone who can hold the tension between clarity and imagination, detail and possibility—so the essence of the vision is never lost along the way."

Before founding LUMN, Annie served as Executive Director of Renaissance in London, leading its expansion to New York, Latin America, and Australia. She has worked across politics, research, and the nonprofit sector, including as Team Leader of Research at McCrindle. Annie holds a Master of Philosophy in Public Policy from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University.
